Hello!Few weeks ago I started walk on a totally new and scary way of Linux. Booting up a CentOS 7 on a VM, I've decided to install and deploy Zabbix to monitoring the network.Every step of a simple and clear step-by-step, I found some connectivity issues, thanks to selinux.

Finally I've gotten Zabbix on air, using Grafana and its powerful, colorful and beautiful (lol) dashboards.All my servers are been monitoring since them.My new objective is to built or found a template/dashboard to get a real time throughput of our internet links.We want to measure how much of links is overcharged.Do you know how to do it?We use NAS 3600Zabbix and Grafana PluginIf need more information, please ask me.Thanks for your time and help. I haven't use Zabbix or your hardware so my perspective is going to be from Nagios. If I were going to tackle this issue with nagios, I would enable snmp on your firewall or device that was the closest you can get to your ISP connection. You really want the device that goes from LAN speed to your ISP uplink speeds, this will give you the truest measurement of bandwidth consumed. Now with nagios there is a snmp plugin that will go out and record bytes transferred and then on the next check interval again read the bytes transferred and subtract to get the difference. This is the network throughput.I did a quick google search of Zabbix and I found references to 'Template SNMP Interfaces' that come with zabbix by default.

So you should start by seeing if your router has an snmp agent and configure a read only community ( read: password ) to access the router from zabbix.
